Need a place to beat the heat?

Following the excessive heat alert issued by the Niagara Regional Health Unit, the city of St. Catharines is offering residents relief from the heat again.

The Catherine Street and Pearson Park splash pads will be open until 9 pm until July 2nd.

All outdoor pools will be open until dusk starting Saturday until July 2nd.

Residents can also go to the Russell Avenue and Port Weller community centres as well as the Seymour Hannah Arena and St. Catharines arena  to beat the heat.

Meantime in Niagara Falls, splash pads will also be open until nine pm, and city pools open tomorrow.
