Three arrests after Welland attack

Three men have been arrested after an assault on a man jogging in Welland.
On Tuesday shortly after 11p police were called to the area of Denistoun and Hooker after a man was attacked from behind by three men.
The three suspects ran off after the attack, leaving the victim lying on the roadway with facial injuries and broken ribs.
On Friday detectives identified and arrested three men for Aggravated Assault.
One of the men is 28 year old Richard Robinson of Trenton, Ontario.
Police believe this incident was a targeted attack and not a random assault.
