St. Catharines cenotaph under review for possible repairs

If you drive by the St. Catharines Cenotaph you may notice fencing set up in front of it, but it's not the scheduled restoration planned for the 85-year old monument.

Instead a further study is being done according to city of St. Catharines Cultural Planning Supervisor Rebecca Cann.

Cann says the study will be concluded in the next couple of weeks so the Cenotaph will be ready for Remembrance Day ceremonies in November, and that the previously scheduled restoration work will likely start in the spring.
