Today marks the Pied Piper Parade in downtown St.Catharines as the Niagara Wine Festival is now underway.

It starts at 11:00 am at Queen and Lake Streets.

The parade features storybook characters with this year's theme being 'Stories Come To Life'.

After the parade, kids will have refreshments in the Children's Picnic area in Grapeland and get to meet Polka Dot Door's own APOOT the baby polar bear and OWLIE, the baby owl.

Families are encouraged to enter Montebello Park with their strollers and belongings prior to the Parade to avoid security line-ups.
