NRP hope new CCTV cameras help identify suspects in three robberies

9/22/2012

Police in downtown St. Catharines are trying to solve three separate but similar robberies.

All three robberies occurred within 15 minutes of each other starting at 1:44 in the morning by the bus terminal, with the third in the area of Clark Street, near Church Street.

In each incident there are a group of young adults consisting of four to five males and one female.

The suspects can be seen on surveillance footage confronting and violently attacking victims by kicking and punching.

Niagara Regional Police say all three victims sustained minor injuries and believe the attacks are random.

Investigators are trying to identify the suspects by sifting through footage from recently installed CCTV cameras and other private surveillance cameras.

Police are asking anyone with information to give them or Crime Stoppers a call.
