Being close to home proved to be an advantage for many local teams Saturday. The St.Catharines Falcons extend their undefeated season to 10 games with a 9-5 win over Kitchener. Port Colborne beat Brampton 3-2 Welland took Guelph 3-1 It took overtime for Niagara Falls to beat St.Thomas 6-5 Fort Erie was embarrassed by Lasalle 11-1 Thorold took Lambton Shores 2-1 in a shootout.
