Man attacked and robbed when called to his home by acquaintances

With friends like these, who needs enemies?

Two men have been arrested after a robbery at a Niagara Falls home.

Police say a man was called to his home by two acquaintances.

When he arrived he was almost immediately stuck in the face several times, breaking his nose in several places.

The victim tried to escape, but suffered several blows to the back with a metal object.

During the assault the subjects demanded the victim hand over money.

700 dollars was handed over and the suspects fled.

Police were called in and made two arrests a short time later.

Two men from Niagara Falls, a 40 year old, and 35 year old are charged with Robbery, Assault Causing Bodily Harm, Uttering threats, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Fail to Comply with Probation.
