Ceremonies get under way at 9 o'clock with a mass army marching along the Niagara River Recreation Trail from Fort George to Queenston Heights.

The battle in the war will be retold through re-enactment, ceremonies and story tellers.

There will also be historic merchants on hand offering unique goods for sale.

Seating is limited so bring a lawn chair or blanket.

The day will end with fireworks highlighting the General Issac Brock monument at 7:15.

The cost to park at Queenston Heights is five dollars but the Niagara Parks will also be offering shuttle service on their new WEGO buses.
