Welland teens face 20 counts of mischief in vandalism spree

Two teens have been arrested after windows of eight Welland residences were smashed over the weekend.

Police were called to Rolling Acres Drive at Sherwood Forest Trail  early yesterday  morning on a report of windows being smashed with rocks.

With the help of the canine unit, police tracked the suspects to their residence a short distance away where they arrested two 17 year old males.

After further investigation, the pair were also implicated in several previous vandalism incidents in the same neighbourhood in August and on the weekend of October 7th.

Both teens are each facing  20 counts of mischief.

Damages in all the incidents total 25 thousand dollars.
