Planned power outage in Fort Erie took place Sunday morning

A planned power outage went ahead as scheduled Sunday in Fort Erie.

This outage was required for Canadian Niagara Power to safely undertake necessary improvements to the electric distribution system.

It aslo impacted Mather’s Arch and the Fort Erie Peace Bridge.

Power was back up and running by 6am.

CKTB incorrectly stated the outage had been moved to Monday.
