Wind warning issued for Niagara

A wind warning for the entire Niagara Region has been issued by Environment Canada stemming from what is now being called Post Tropical Storm Sandy.

Sandy is expected to interact with a stalled front over Ontario that could bring up to 30 mm of rain across the Niagara area.

The Canadian Hurricane Centre says southern and eastern Ontario could also see 100 kilometre-an-hour winds throughtout the night and early morning hours.
