Ottawa commits 90 thousand toward new War of 1812 display

The federal government coming up with more cash to help commemorate the 200th anniversary of the War of 1812.

St.  Catharines MP Rick Dykstra says Brock University will get 90 thousand dollars toward the creation of a special exhibit that will be set up at the St. Catharines Museum starting this summer and running to December of next year.

An anticipated 250 thousand visitors are expected to view the display which will include historical artifacts, interactive elementary and hands on displays.
