Why aren't the Paralympics given the same TV treatment as the Olympics?  CTV, TSN & Sportsnet giving us 12 hours of live coverage, blanketing the entire games?

Well, OK, I do understand that the Paralympics are not on the same level as the Olympics, but I don't think our interest falls off as much as the media's seems to.  It's hard to find Paralympic coverage, yet just weeks ago, it was tough to avoid Olympic coverage.

It's easy to say that people don't want to watch the Paralympics when we're not given a chance.  Given that chance, I think I'd be watching.  To the same extent as the Olympics?  No.  Would I watch the Paralympics ahead of the next meaningless Blue Jays game?  Yes.

Just give me a chance to not watch before you tell me I don't want to.

Luckily, thanks to the internet, there's plenty of live action & highlites available to us.

PS - TSN2 is at least showing some of the Paralympics.  I don't want their efforts to go unnoticed.
