I love good photography. Photography is one of those hobbies I was going to take up, and still might one day, along with guitar, piano, painting and race car driving.  I will not be pursuing bird watching or scrapbooking, very nice activities unto their own just not for me. (Truthfully, I really see the appeal of bird watching, I really do...I just hate to admit it. Let's keep that one between you and me.)

The closest I have come to pursuing photography is the purchase of a digital camera (OK it's a cheap one) and subscribing to a site that sends me cool pics every once in a while.

LOVE A GOOD PICTURE

This weekend they sent me these 15 perfectly timed photographs.  Some are what I would describe as journalistic, some are just being in the right place at the right time.  Some display the ability to see a photo op where no one else did.  Others look set up, which is fine by me, because that still displays an artistic bent. Oddly perhaps, the water bottle is my favorite.

I do not believe that ANY of these are photoshopped.  Some are beautiful, others amusing, and others making me vow, "YES, I will be taking up photography any day now, which I could combine with bird watching."  I hope you enjoy the weekend distraction.
