It's 10-11-12! Significant?
Welcome to Thursday, October 11, 2012, a somewhat rare occurrence in that the day can be written out numerically as 10-11-12. Is this significant? Mostly...NO. Sorry, I wish I had some cosmic fortunes I could share with you, perhaps even some Mayan significance, but alas, not.
They say in Vegas there are maybe a few extra weddings booked at the chapels today but nothing like last year when we had 11-11-11 or five years ago when we had 07-07-07. In about 2 months it will be 12-12-12, which no doubt some other bored numerologist will mention.
In the early years of any century we go through these dates. 01-02-03, and so forth. Next year we will have an 11-12-13, followed in 2014 by a 12-13-14 and then that will be it for 87 years until the next 01-01-01 New Year's Day.
This also depends on how you write out the day numerically. I believe it is mostly Americans (and me) that write out the date numerically in the same sequence we would write it out in full. Month, followed by day, followed by year. In my opinion it's the easiest way to remember it in those days of the month 12 and under where the number could conceivably be a day or a month. It's the 11 of October, 2012, or 11-10-12 as some would have it. The latter just doesn't make sense. Write the numbers the way you would say the words...October 11th, 2012. I wish this was a habit we all picked up. Yes, I like order. I also like chaos, but only if it leads to a new order.
So enjoy 10-11-12. Maybe you awoke at 07:08:09 on 10-11-12. If not, mark that time this eve. Perhaps the sequence will be particularly fortunate for you. I'll bet those extra weddings in Vegas are the guy's idea, just an easier way for us to remember our wedding anniversaries. My personal goal would be to find a woman born on February 14th or December 25th and marry her on that day, thereby guaranteeing that I would have 3 special occasions covered in one day, EVERY year.
Meanwhile, it's also Thursday of a short week. Enjoy. LEAVE COMMENTS.
