Almost anyone can post a video on YouTube of just about anything. That's not always enriching. The good thing about that is occasionally talent surfaces.  Witness the Stella Sisters video last week.

Here's a video of 2 young Irish boys on a front step doing a cover of Rihanna's We Found Love. They add their own rap verse.

LOVE THE SINGER

The guitartist is Harrison Dodo and he is 16. I'm not sure of the age of the singer, Rob Scanlon but I would guess, twixt 10 and 12. I love the way young Scanlon belts it out, never really concerned or connected with the phone camera recording them. It's like he has some “Van Morrison” attitude going.

The two are part of a band called Fresh Era from Celbridge, Ireland and they recently performed the song, as a group on a Dublin radio station. To see that video, click here. The picture of Fresh Era includes Scanlon's older sister Ashlee who also does vocals.

It's great to see kids involved in music and this is the positive side of social media when they can get some attention. Enjoy. LEAVE COMMENTS.
