A meta-analysis published in Clinical Nutrition surveyed 19 randomised, controlled trials and determined that B vitamin supplements may reduce the risk of stroke by about 12%, and might work by lowering homocysteine levels.

B vitamins used in cell metabolism and are especially important when you are undergoing stress, as stress is known to burn up the vitamin. Look for your B vitamins in a variety of foods, as well as supplement form.

It’s best to use a B-complex formula rather than individual Bs, as taking one B vitamin may mask a deficiency in another one of the Bs. Look for 50mg or 100mg B Complex supplements. Simple.

Wishing you vibrant health and a beautiful day!
