2nd Anniversary

Today (Fri Nov 20th) is national child day.
This year, National Child Day; also commemorates the 20th anniversary of the adoption, by the United Nations, of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.
In the Niagara Region, the Child Advocacy Center is celebrating its second anniversary. The United States has over 9 hundred of these centers... Canada has only... three!
The center is designed to make it easier on children, if they're involved in a court case.
It reduces stress on the child, by eliminating the need for multiple visits to different locations, such as the police station, social worker's offices, the doctors and lawyers, enabling the child to tell his or her story under one roof.
