This 2 day program will provide participants with skills to begin a new and exciting career as a Professional Childbirth Support Specialist (also known as a Doula). A Doula is defined as a woman experienced in childbirth who provides advise, information, emotional support... and physical comfort to a mother before, during and in the postpartum period of childbirth. A Doula does not replace a partner, mid-wife or doctor!!
