Happening at the Forty in Historic Village – Coronation Park, Grimsby Saturday, July 28, 2012 "Bringing History to Life and Life to History" The War of 1812 celebrations this year brings together a collection of Sutlers, Artisans and Reenactors to the Happening at the Forty giving us a representation of the existence and ways of village life in 1812. The entire Coronation Park in Grimsby, Ontario, will be transformed into a Historic Village on Saturday, July 28, 2012. A parade of some 35 reenactors, accompanied by the Grimsby Pipe Band will leave Grimsby Square at 2:00 pm. preceded by a pipe band, march down to the Park and demonstrate their training, mixing with visitors. The Historic Village in Coronation Park will be open from 9:00 am. to 4:00 pm. There’s something of interest here for all ages…come join the fun.
