On Thursday July 5, 2012, The Niagara Parks Commission (NPC) and Chippawa Branch 396 of the Royal Canadian Legion will be conducting its annual memorial ceremony in honour of all those who served during the Battle of Chippawa. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m., at the Battle of Chippawa Monument, with NPC Chair Janice Thomson providing opening remarks followed by a special presentation by NPC Historian, Sherman Zavitz.
