Community Care is asking for the public’s assistance in filling Community Care’s shelves for those in need by donating harvest from their gardens. Donations are not limited to individuals as we would most appreciative for fresh donations from farmers and businesses alike. Please drop off your extra tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, etc. to either of our Community Care locations at: 12 North St., St. Catharines or 19 Albert St., Thorold OR…within the special barrels designed for FRESH FOOD at ALL Fire Stations in St. Catharines and the Main Fire Station in Downtown Thorold, on Towpath Street. In addition, all“NON-perishable foods” will continue to be gratefully accepted at Community Care, the Fire Stations or any of our participating grocery stores. Monetary donations are welcomed with thanks, payable to Community Care by cheque, cash, Visa or MasterCard.
