Saturday July 5th

What: Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School Fundraiser

When: 9am - ?

Where: Ridgeway Crystal Beach High School, 576 Ridge Road, Ridgeway

Scoop: The Ridgeway Crystal Beach High Senior Girls Volleyball team is fundraising with a garage sale and car wash to raise funds for a tournament they are attending in Hawaii during March Break of 2009.

What: Ridgefest - Ridgeway's Summer Festival

When: July 5th: 9am - 5pm, Street Dance: 7pm - 1am, July 6th: 9am - 5pm

Where: Downtown Ridgeway, Ridge Road

Scoop: The 2008 Ridgeway Summer Festival will bring two days of fun and entertainment to you on July 5 & 6, 2008. Don't miss the Lions Club Pancake breakfast at the Entertainment tent both days and the Ridgeway/Crystal Beach Kinsmen Club's Annual Street Dance and Party on Saturday night. Plenty of crafters, local historical shops for your browsing pleasure along with wildlife displays and a Car Show from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm on Sunday. Musical Entertainment, demonstrations, Clowns, Horse Show, Buskers, Auction 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Saturday. Free Entertainment and children's events.

What: Port Dalhousie Lions Carnival

When: July 1st - 6th, 9am - 11pm

Where: Lakeside Park, Lock St., Port Dalhousie

Scoop: Come to Lakeside Park in historic Port Dalhousie for the Annual Lion's Carnival. There's fun for the whole family at the Lion's Club Carnival with midway rides, vendors and kid's entertainment.

Sunday July 6th

What: Canal Fest Antique Car Show

When: 8:15am - 11pm

Where: Lock 8 Park, Main St. West, Port Colborne

Scoop: Up to 250 antique cars will be on display and competing for cash and prizes at the 14th Annual Canal Fest Car Show at Lock 8 Park in Port Colborne. Plenty of crafters and artisans offering a fabulous mix of wares. All cars and crafters must be pre-registered.

What: Ontario Sausage Festival

When: 2pm - 10pm

Where: Lipa Park, 2850 Oille Road, Fonthill

Scoop: Grammy award winner Walter Ostanek will perform live with dancing in the outdoor pavilion, sausage tasting, BBQ. Refreshments and food and of course sausages.
