Police Searching for Robbery Suspect

Police are searching for a suspect after the Avondale variety store on Ontario Street in St. Catharines was robbed last night.

A man pulled a knife on a female who was working behind the counter and demanded money.

The clerk handed over everything in the cash register and the man fled.

The suspect is described as white, with a skinny build and blonde hair. He is about 5-feet 9-inches tall and appeared to be in his late 20's.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
