Lincoln Fire Kills Senior

It happened Saturday morning when fire crews arrived at a 23rd street home to find it engulfed in flames.
They found an 80 year old man dead inside. They were able to revive him and send him to Hamilton Hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
A woman was also inside and was treated at the St. Catharines General. The 79 year old died in hospital Saturday afternoon.
An autopsy conducted Sunday reveals she died of smoke inhalation.
Her name is being withheld at the request of her family
The family dog was also found dead at the home.
Niagara Police are working with the Ontario Fire Marshal to pin down what sparked the blaze. They expect to have wrapped up their investigation of the scene by Monday.
