Teens Saved From Lake Ontario

It was a dangerous situation Monday night on Lake Ontario off Port Dalhousie after two 15 year old boys stole a small sailboat.
No sooner did the boat drift out into the Lake when it got into trouble in the choppy waters.
The teens panicked, put on life jackets, and jumped in the lake in an attempt to swim to shore.
Niagara Police called in the Coast Guard, who located the kids and plucked them from the water several hundred meters off shore.
Hypothermia had already started to set in and police doubt the teens would've made it to shore on their own.
Criminal charges against the two youths are pending.
