QEW reopens after pileup near Jordan Rd.

A jack-knifed tractor trailer set off a chain reaction crash on the Niagara-bound QEW Friday morning.

In all, five vehciles were involved resulting in a massive backlog of traffic on the highway.

Ambulances were called to the scene.  It's unknown how many people were hurt but the injuries are all considered minor.

The OPP reopened the QEW shortly after noon.
