The city of St. Catharines helping residents beat the heat

The city of St. Catharines is extending hours at community centres, pools and splash pads inorder to help local residents beat the heat.

 Here is the complete list:

Extended pool and splash pad hours

West Park Pool – 130 Louth St., 905-685-4171

June 20 to 21: open until 10 p.m.

• Catherine Street splash pad and Pearson Park splash pad

June 20 to 21: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Community Centres

Russell Avenue – 108 Russell Ave., 905-685-6041

June 20: open until 9 p.m.

June 21: 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.

• Port Weller – 1 Bogart St., 905-907-6232

June 21: 9-11 a.m. and 5-8:30 p.m.

Older Adult Centres

Dunlop Drive – 80 Dunlop Dr., 905-685-6668

June 20: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

June 21: 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• Port Dalhousie – 19 Brock St., 905-646-8000

June 20: noon to 3:30 p.m.

June 21: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• West St. Catharines – 117 Chetwood St., 905-684-0993

June 20: 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
