It's going to be another hot and sticky day and now a special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada for Niagara.
EC says a long stretch of above normal temperatures will continue through the middle of this coming week.
Yesterday's afternoon temperatures again reached the low to mid 30's, well above the normal highs which range between 25 and 28 at this time of year.
Today will bring increasing humidity, although cloud cover and the possibility of isolated showers and thunderstorms may keep temperatures down a couple of degrees compared to yesterday.
The hot and humid conditions will persist through Wednesday, when somewhat cooler air is expected.
