Arson suspected in St.Catharines garage fire

The Ontario Fire Marshall's Office has been called in to investigate a fire last Friday in St.Catharines.

The blaze at 32 Harcove Street broke out at 4am in the attached garage area of the home.

Although people were in the home at the time the fire started, they were able to get out safely.

Damage is pegged at 25-thousand dollars.

Since fire officials believe arson is the cause the Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to investigate along with members of the Niagara Regional Police Detective and Forensic services.
