The Niagara Parks Commission made just over $25,000 for Nik Wallenda's tightropewalk over Niagara Falls.
A financial report released Friday shows the NPC made a total profit of $25,260 after all costs were covered for the event, which drew tens of thousands to the Falls, and millions of viewers on television.
The NPC says it's happy with the outcome, saying it wasn't just about making money but highlighting the wonder and the splendor of the Falls and painting the city in a positive light.
Of all the costs associated with the walk, the most expensive cost was the legal fees for the firm the put together the contract to make the event happen.
