Niagara Choir to sing for PM Harper Monday

A choir from Niagara with be in the national spotlight Monday.

Momentum Choir, a group of 50 singers all with developmental disabilities from Niagara Region, is singing for the Prime Minister and MPs at noon on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

Choir organizers say it's important for politicians to see past disability and share the choir's vision to belong, believe and inspire.

They say it's also a great chance to put Niagara Region in the national spotlight.

The choir's artist director will join Tim Denis to talk about the performance at 8:20 Monday morning.
