No school closures in Niagara; school buses running

It's business as usual at schools in Niagara.

Despite concerns over Hurricane Sandy's strong winds and heavy rain, Niagara escaped mostly unharmed and as a result, none of Niagara's school boards have cancelled classes.

Niagara Student Transportation Services reporting on its website that school buses will be on the road this morning and there are no school closures.

Brock University is also open today.  It had cancelled evening classes and non-academic activities Monday night because of the bad weather. Niagara College has also informed its students and staff that its campuses are open today and classes and other activities are scheduled to go ahead as planned.
