NRP investigating another traffic fatality in Niagara

Niagara Regional Police is investigating the latest traffic fatality in the Niagara region.

At around 2:24 Monday morning, police, Emergency Medical Service and the Thorold Fire Department responded to reports of a single vehicle accident on Merrittville Highway at the intersection of Decew Road in Thorold.

Police say a 20 year old man was driving a Nissan Pathfinder south bound on Merrittville when the SUV went off the road, struck a metal pole causing the truck to roll ejecting the lone driver.

Brock Follows of Lincoln was pronounced dead at the scene.

The collision remains under investigation by the NRP Collision Reconstruction Unit.

Any witnesses or people having contact with Brock Follows before the collision are asked to call police or CrimeStoppers.
