A call from a concerned citizen lead to a weekend arrest in downtown St. Catharines.

The Garden City resident told police he witnessed a man spray painting the window of the Credit Bureau at 26 Queen Street. Investigation revealed that, in fact, 4 downtown businesses had been "tagged" with green paint ( the old Royal Bank , the Standard building and Jordan Stewart's Clothing) A short time later police spotted a man on a skateboard who matched the description of the graffiti vandal. The suspects hands were covered with what appeared to be "fresh"green paint.

Justin Robert Arnold is charged with 4 counts of mischief under 5 thousand dollars.
