Join Tim Denis  every weekday morning from 5am - 9am for the CKTB Morning Show.  Tim will wake you up with the daily buzz from around the world and all the news from right here in your own backyard.  Along with Laurie Walsh, Michelle Cruise and Rick Fleming, CKTB starts your morning off right!



On the Monday show, Tim Denis and Laurie Walsh bring you the latest news and information to get you going on the right foot for a back to work Monday.   Be sure to be listening for the sound of the GPS on CKTB's Escape Route on Route 610 contest, where you can win a fabulous retreat package courtesy Attractions Ontario.ca; plus Monday we announce our first weekly grand prize winner:  one of our qualifiers will win a weekend getaway to Collingwood, Ontario!  At 7:20, we talk with Caitlin Copetti, one of the organizers for the campaign Five Days for the Homeless, a national charity campaign in which twenty-one universities and colleges are taking part right across the country.  We'll find out about the local group, who began on Sunday, and how they are doing so far.  At 8:20 we talk with St. Catharines resident Erin Knight, whose poem titled Healthy Human Carrier is nominated in the poetry category for the CBC Literary Awards to be handed out this coming March 18th.   And on the Niagara Knows contest at 7:42, you could win a voucher for tax preparation worth $ 100 from H&R Block Canada - Get it Right! TIM DENIS
 

Tim Denis brings over 30 years in the entertainment field to the air as a talk show host, singer, actor, director and songwriter. A native of the area, having grown up in Port Colborne, Tim is the longest serving morning man in Niagara...recently celebrating 33 years in radio. He began his radio career doing the all night show in Simcoe at CHNR and moved on to stints at CKGL in Kitchener, CHOW Welland, QRFM and CHSC in St. Catharines and WAIR Traverse City, Michigan before returning to his home where he has been waking Niagara up for over 20 years. He is also a frequent TV guest on CHTVs Live@5:30 and the guest host for The Michael Coren Show on CTS.

His acting credits include award-winning roles in Man Of La Mancha for Drury Lane, ART, I Do I Do and Talley's Folly for The Player’s Guild and Secret Garden for Hamilton Theatre Inc. Audiences in Niagara have seen him as Harold Hill in The Music Man, Tommy in Brigadoon and Fred in Kiss Me Kate . As a director he has been at the helm of How To Succeed... and Brighton Beach Memoirs at the Firehall Theatre in Niagara Falls. He is one of the founding producers of Niagara's own Lakeside Players who are producing their 5th successful season at the Port Mansion Theatre in Port Dalhousie.  

Tim released a top ten album on the country charts in 1985 with the LP Tim Denis (CTL Records) featuring a young Shania Twain and the top 20 single Fallin’’ and Heartache Hill.
