North Niagara under snowfall warning

2/7/2013

Environment Canada has North Niagara under a snowfall warning.

St. Catharines and Grimby areas expecting to get 2 cm Thursday morning followed by another 5 to 10cm by Friday night.

A low pressure system moving up from Texas to blame, meteorologists say the heaviest snow is expected Friday morning during rush hour.

The snow, heavy at times, is expected to continue well into Friday as the strong system passes just south of the Great Lakes.
