100 new high-skilled jobs for St. Catharines.
The garden city will be the new home for Steelcon Fabrication's new $40 million dollar manufacturing facility.
The family-owned company based in Brampton, uses advanced technologies to produce construction beams that are lighter, use less steel, and have less of an impact on the environment while making construction more efficient.
St. Catharines was selected from several sites across North America.
Steelcon’s new location at 87 Grantham Avenue is part of an expansion plan that aims to increase its daily production of SIN-beams, improve production and energy efficiency and expand its market reach throughout North America.
Steelcon worked collaboratively with the City of St. Catharines Economic Development team and local elected officials in its location search.
