Watch for some young eager faces ready to lend a hand with the 10th annual Brock Cares Day of Service this Saturday.
The university, which boast record enrollment this year, expects about 300 students along with Brock employees to roll up their sleeves and lend a hand.
Badgers will participate in a number of events from assisting with a blood drive, playing games with residents at a long-term care home and collecting donations.
Kristen Smith, Brock’s Manager of Community Outreach Programs in Student Life and Community Experience says “This is a chance for students to not only become acquainted with the community they’re living in, but to also say ‘thank you’ to Niagara residents for welcoming them in.”
Brock cares is the wrap up event to the University’s welcome week event.
