If you're looking for a few laughs this weekend, head to the Pen Centre Saturday, as men across Niagara don high heels and walk the mall all in an effort to raise money and awareness in the fight to end violence against women and children.
Representatives from Newstalk 610 CKTB and EZ Rock will be strutting their stuff as part of the annual event which helps raise funds for Gillians Place.
Event Ambassador and Executive Director of Leadership Niagara, Shane Malcom says it has been powerful to learn more about domestic violence and what some women across our community and the country go through.
Malcolm says he is advocating to show women and child that the majority of men are on their side.
For more than 40 years Gillian's Place has protected and served abused women and their children in St. Catharines and North Niagara.
To see all of the graceful action, registration begins at 9:30 tomorrow morning in the Event Court at the Pen.
