The byelection race in Niagara West Glanbrook is set, with the Tories and NDP nominating their candidates this weekend.
A 19-year-old university student beat out the president of the Ontario Progressive Conservative Party to win the nomination.
Sam Oosterhoff was up against party president and former St Catharines M-P Rick Dykstra, as well as regional councillor Tony Quirk in seeking the nomination.
He's currently enrolled at Brock University and has worked as a legislative assistant in Parliament Hill.
Oosterhoff will square off against Michael Thomas for the NDP, Vicky Ringuette for the Liberals and Donna Cridland for the Green Party.
The riding was vacated when former party leader Tim Hudak resigned last month and the byelection will be held November 17th, along with one in Ottawa-Vanier.
