West Vancouver police say they're extending to 60 days the period of time a sports car will stay impounded after its driver was allegedly caught going 210 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
The 2015 Ferrari 458 was initially impounded for seven days when the driver was stopped for speeding on the Lion's Gate Bridge early Tuesday, but the Superintendent of Motor Vehicles reviewed the case and extended the order.
The 22-year-old driver is to appear in court in September on charges of excessive speed and driving without due care and attention.
