The public is invited to attend the lighting of a 24 hour fire starting at the 6am sunrise tomorrow at the grove next to the Fort Erie Native Friendship Centre on Buffalo Rd in Fort Erie to raise awareness for Tara Lanea Summers.
The 31 year old woman who lives in the town but travels to the GTA where she works at Woodbine Race Track went missing in Toronto on April 27th.
Friends and family of the Summers are inviting members of the Niagara community to visit the fire at any time over the 24 hour period to help raise awareness and show support.
Tara is described as an Aboriginal female, approximately 5'6" tall, weighing 110 pounds with short black hair.
She has a tattoo of "Elmo" on her lower middle back, pierced lip ring and piercings in both ears.
The NRPS and Summers Family remain concerned for her well-being.
