A 25 year old Fort Erie man has been arrested after a convenience store in the town's east end was robbed last weekend.
Niagara Regional Police say the incident took place on Saturday August 3rd, just before 4pm.
Investigation revealed a lone male grabbed a small amount of merchandise and attempted to flee without paying.
The store clerk tried to stop the suspect and suffered some minor injuries.
Officers managed to locate a suspect a short distance away and have charged Christopher Archambault with robbery.
Archambault is being held in custody for a bail hearing.
