A 25 year old from Fort Erie is being accused of robbing a local convenience store.
Police say a store in the east end of the town was robbed by a man this past Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
It's alleged the suspect grabbed a small amount of merchandise and tried to flee without paying, and when the store clerk stopped him, the suspect punched and pushed the clerk to get away.
The clerk suffered minor injuries.
Police were able to track down the suspect a short distance away.
Charged with one count of Robbery is 25 year old Fort Erie resident Christopher Archambault.
Archambault was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
