A 36 year old Fort Erie man is facing charges after an incident involving a fake gun at a local restaurant.
Police were called at 1:20 in the morning on Sunday to the restaurant in the area of Erie Rd and Oakwood Ave.
When officers arrived, they were informed a man walked into the restaurant and threatened the staff inside while displaying what was believed to be a handgun.
No one was hurt, and the man left before officers arrived.
Further investigation led officers to a nearby home where a man was arrested and a replica handgun was recovered.
36-year-old Dustin Clark of Fort Erie is charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats.
Clark is currently being held in custody pending a bail hearing later today.
