“I want to welcome all visitors to Niagara-on-the-Lake” says Lord Mayor Pat Darte. “I also want to thank merchants and residents for their assistance in presenting the Prettiest Town in Canada.” Lord Mayor Darte and Parks Canada historical interpreters will be welcoming guests outside the Courthouse.
Partial road barricades will be in place in the Heritage District between 1 PM and 6 PM to allow for buses to enter and exit the Heritage District with the least disruption to the flow of traffic.
The event will also close the Niagara Parkway, as CKTB reported earlier.
A giant stage has been put up for the event in the area of the annual New Years eve show.
