It's back to work for hundreds of laid off workers in Niagara.
435 workers in the region were laid off three weeks ago following a strike at the CAMI General Motors plant in Ingersoll.
On September 25th, 255 workers at St.Catharines GM Glendale plant were laid off, along with 180 at the Spencer ARL plant in Niagara Falls.
The Glendale Ave. plant builds transmissions that supply the CAMI Assembly plant.
Unifor Local 199 President Greg Brady tells CKTB's Tim Denis that all workers are back on the job this morning following news that a tentative deal has been reached at the CAMI plant.
Striking workers in Ingersoll will vote on a tentative contract offer today.
Their union, Unifor, is recommending they vote yes.
Few details have been released but the union says it does address the key concern of job security.
