Police have made five arrests following a crack cocaine bust in St. Catharines.
Since May the NRP has been investigating two Toronto area males suspected of selling crack cocaine from a Page Street residence.
During the investigation police made observations consistent with a drug trafficking operation and executed two search warrants May 26th as a result.
A total of 72 grams of crack cocaine were seized, with an estimated street value of 7200 dollars, along with 1400 dollars in Canadian currency.
23 year old Abdoul Mare of Toronto is charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking
Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
Fail to comply with his Recognizance x 2
46 year old William Goodale, 43 year old Martin Kowal-sik, 27 year old Edmond Kwab and 28 year old Kristina Davis, all of St. Catharines, are charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
All suspects are being held pending a morning bail hearing scheduled for May 27th, except Davis who was released on a Promise to Appear.
