One man is battling serious injuries after being stabbed in Niagara Falls.
Around 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon Niagara Regional Police were called to a home near Maple Street and 3rd Avenue.
When they arrived they found two men with injuries.
One man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries from a stabbing.
After an altercation with police the other man was also taken to hospital and then charged.
54 year old Mark Skinner has been charged with aggravated assault, two counts of disarm police officer, and assault to resist arrest.
Skinner will be in court today for a bail hearing.
As a result of the injuries to Skinner the Special investigations Unit has begun an investigation into the altercation with police.
